About the Evening
This Summer Photography Evening is designed for you to make time to slow down and be creative with your camera. Set in amongst the stunning grounds of Belmont House, come along and enjoy the serene spaces of the Kitchen and Walled Gardens.
Photographer Karen Louise George will be your host, and will be guiding you through how to make the most of the Summer evening sunlight and creating some beautiful imagery with you, using seasonal foliage from the gardens.
Photographer Emily Rose Parris will be demonstrating the beauty of the traditional Cyanotype process before offering you the chance to make a beautiful print of your own to display at home.
Looking to learn how to use the settings on your camera? Our 1-2-1 training sessions would be ideal for you.
Everyone Welcome!
Our workshops are suitable for all levels of photographer, from beginner to pro! All cameras are welcome too, even smartphones! The Summer Photography Evening is about making time to be creative with your camera and enjoy making photographs.
Children that are interested in photography are very welcome but must be accompanied by a guardian/adult and must be taking part in the workshop/using a camera.
If it Rains…
Because, as you well know, British Summer weather isn’t always what we hope it will be, we have access to the beautiful large Greenhouses for the evening, there is also plenty of shelter throughout the garden so being creative needn’t stop in wet weather.
